Emotions of a Bride

Weddings are a roller coaster ride in itself. So many emotions. So many moods. It’s important for brides and grooms to emotionally prepare for their walk down the aisle, because even the calmest people experience a host of emotions which can catch them off guard.

Anxiety
Weddings are high stress situations where the need to have everything perfect makes the bride extremely anxious. Every bide faces stress, whether it is family drama or finances.

Overwhelmed
A bride might feel overwhelmed by the love and support showered on her during the wedding festivities. Brides, in their wedding finery, are often pulled in different directions to have a conversation with the many guests at the party. They barely get to sit in peace for a even a moment and it is commonplace for them to feel strong emotions amidst the chaos.

Anger
It is not rare to see a bride experience anger on days leading up to her wedding.  Disagreements, resentment, hurt feelings are bound to erupt in such a situation.

Love
Finally, one emotion a bride will experience is love. There are many types of love, ranging from parental affection to romance.. Brides need to be prepared for strong surges of love throughout the day; when a father walks his daughter down the aisle, or seeing your man as the groom for the first time.

Sadness
The thought of leaving her parents and her home behind can tear up any bride.  Sadness is not an emotion one associates with a wedding but it is one of the realest feelings experienced by the bride.
